Stakeholders

The Laredo Regional ITS Architecture represents the consensus input of a diverse set of stakeholders, encompassing traffic, transit, public safety, and many other operating agencies at local, county, state, and national levels.  It includes both public and private sectors and spans the organizations that manage, support, or are impacted by the surface transportation system in the Laredo Region.

City and Community Parking System Operators City and community organizations and businesses operating parking lots
City of Laredo Laredo City offices and departments, including Traffic Engineering, Emergency Management, Planning, Transit, Police and Fire
City of Laredo/Webb County Joint operator of City of Laredo/Webb County Emergency Operations Center
City/County Public Safety Local city or county agency responsible for emergency operations center and other emergency functions
City/County/State Public Safety Local city, county, and state agencies responsible for emergency operations center and that may coordinate via the Laredo Regional Incident and Mutual Aid Network.
Commercial Vehicle Operators Private commercial vehicle operators
County Road and Bridge County agency responsible for maintaining county roads and bridges in the Laredo Region. This includes the Laredo Bridge System.
Courtesy Service Patrol Provider Agency (public or private) providing vehicles and drivers for service patrols.

DPS Division of Emergency Management Mitigation and response for natural and man-made disasters and emergencies

Private Travelers Traveling public accessing various modes of transportation, including surface street, air, rail/transit, and non-motorized

Regional Hospitals Hospital/trauma centers in the region including Mercy and Doctors Hospital

Traveler Telecommunications System Providers Providers of 511 traveler information telephone routing.
TxDOT Texas Department of Transportation, including the Laredo District and statewide systems and functions
