FD provides fire protection and support for Pantex facility and surrounding areas. Staffed with 48 firefighters and an on-site medical facility. Mutual aid agreements with City of Amarillo, Panhandle, Carson and Randall Counties, and Panhandle Emergency Medical Services ambulance provider. Response area also includes Highways 60 and I-40 (to Amarillo City Limits). Primary contact is with DPS.
Pantex EOC has direct communications with DPS.
