City of McAllen Transportation Management Center. This TMC will monitor and manage traffic flow in the City of McAllen. Incidents will be detected and verified using video image vehicle detectors (VIVDS), and CCTV cameras. Incident information will then be provided to the appropriate agencies, like DPS, and local fire and local police dispatch. A web page is already available to provide traffic related information. The City of McAllen Traffic Signal System operates from this center.
