Description: |
US Border Patrol video surveillance along the river and at highway checkpoints. Cities are also covered, including Brownsville. The initial system will be expanded to include other cities and checkpoints in the future. The border patrol also operates an air unit with 9 helicopters and 3 fixed wing aircraft, and a boat patrol with 30 boats along the river.
