Regional Project Inventory

The following are a list of ITS projects that have been identified for the region. This list was created from an analysis of regional planning documents, such as the current Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) for the region, or the Regional Transportation Plan, as well as from input from the stakeholders. Projects are listed by the lead stakeholder (agency).

Each project is assigned a project stage - Programmed projects are funded and can generally be found in the region's Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP). Planned projects are not yet funded by the region's TIP, but have been identified as a future target.

In addition to the 'Roadway', which defines a roadway or corridor for the project, each project contains a hyperlink to a map locating the project within the region.

Project Type defines a given project within the scope of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).

Relevant ITS Strategic Plan Goal(s) maps a project back to the goals identified within the Massachusetts ITS Strategic Plan.
