This project would install signal preemption at pre-signals at road intersections near rail crossings on Kings Highway at Church Street and the Route 140 on/off ramps. The goal of this signal preemption is to prevent the queuing of traffic on railroad crossings, which would prevent rail-auto conflicts and collisions. |
