| Functional Requirements |
1 -
The center shall select traveler information for distribution including traffic and road conditions, incident information, maintenance and construction information, event information, transit information, parking information, and weather information. 2 - The center shall distribute location relevant traveler information to short range communications equipment at the roadside. 3 - The center shall provide the capability for a system operator to monitor connected vehicle system operation and control the type and update frequency of traveler information that is distributed. 4 - The center shall monitor the operational status of the DSRC roadside equipment. 5 - The center shall collect fault data from the roadside equipment and send to the maintenance center for repair. 6 - The center shall monitor maintenance status of the roadside equipment. |
