Description: |
A state agency, primarily an investigatory agency, not a response agency. They manage resources for major statewide incidents like hurricanes. They typically don't operate their own centers, but operate out of the State Emergency Operations Center. At the time the statewide architecture was developed (2000), these regional communications and dispatch centers were to be taken over by Florida Highway Patrol.
