Description: |
The Clearwater Police Vehicle Systems include two-way communications with the Police Dispatch to support coordinated response to emergencies. Real-time traffic information is used to further aid the Police Dispatcher in selecting the routes that will provide the most timely response to the incident. In addition, the Police Vehicles are equipped to support signal preemption through communications with the Clearwater Traffic Signal Control System.
