Public parking areas including downtown parking facilities, airport parking at the international airports, various park and ride and park and fly facilities, and beach parking lots along the gulf coast of southern Florida. Demand can exceed available parking spaces in these facilities. ITS can help to provide current parking availability information to travelers through a variety of means, provide for electronic payment of parking fees, and coordination of park and ride requirements with transportation providers.
